No matter where you travel to there are people around you helping to create your travel experience, though indirectly.
•Those travel buddies you have just met.
•The tour guide and host.
•The accommodation and restaurant staff.
•The taxi/Uber driver or private driver.
•That market stall owner who gave you that special, memorable deal.
•The random couple you started talking to in a cafe.
•The local business owner you sparked a conversation with.

Even though we travel solo, these are not singular experiences-the interactions we have with others are the things that come together to make an unforgettable journey.

𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝘀 💎 Well maybe not so much hidden, but definitely a gem especially if you are into street art.
The catch-22 is that this place is not busy, and that is part of its beauty. 🤔

So, we want to share these amazing secret spots or hidden gems, and slowly, they will become more and more popular as people seek them out to experience for themselves.
And before you know it, they have changed, constraints are put in place, it becomes commercialised and overcrowding becomes an issue. The magic is gone.

How do we get the balance right?
Social media has changed how we explore the world.

Be thoughtful in your sharing, don’t just take that photo to get more followers, and likes.
Share that photo but maybe don’t give the location.
Maybe…..don’t share the photo at all. 😳
There was a time when we went to experience places and destinations for ourselves, not everyone else.

This is a question I got asked on a recent podcast interview.
They know of travel agents but were unsure of the role of a travel coach. ✈️ 🚆 🛥️ 🌍

Each travel coach (like any coach) will have their niche and different ways of supporting their clients.

I love being there every step of the way, breaking down the stress, overwhelm, and anxiety that can come with organising a trip (logistics).
For example, I love choosing the best accommodation to suit your needs, working on budgets and affordability, choosing purposeful activities, and even considering little details like layovers and airline routes to make the most of your trip.
BUT then comes the deeper WHY…

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽?
For example:
•Is it really to escape?
•To rediscover yourself?
•Revitalise your soul?
•Or to seek direction?
Once you realise the true reason behind your journey you can then bring all these elements together for a truly transformative travel experience! 🩵🌍🩵
