Today here in New Zealand, we are celebrating MATARIKI.
As this is a time to remember those no longer with us, reflection and new beginnings it’s also an opportunity to say thank you to everyone who often finds these moments while on retreat. I hope this is a special day for everyone, and sending out many blessings no matter where you are in the world!

The appearance of Matariki (star cluster) in the morning sky in mid-winter marks the Māori New Year, or Te Mātahi o te Tau.
It signals a time to remember those who have passed, celebrate the present and plan for the future. It’s a time to spend with whānau and friends – to enjoy kai (food), waiata (song), tākaro (games)
