𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝘀 💎 Well maybe not so much hidden, but definitely a gem especially if you are into street art.
The catch-22 is that this place is not busy, and that is part of its beauty. 🤔

So, we want to share these amazing secret spots or hidden gems, and slowly, they will become more and more popular as people seek them out to experience for themselves.
And before you know it, they have changed, constraints are put in place, it becomes commercialised and overcrowding becomes an issue. The magic is gone.

How do we get the balance right?
Social media has changed how we explore the world.

Be thoughtful in your sharing, don’t just take that photo to get more followers, and likes.
Share that photo but maybe don’t give the location.
Maybe…..don’t share the photo at all. 😳
There was a time when we went to experience places and destinations for ourselves, not everyone else.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆?
This is a question I got asked on a recent podcast interview.
They know of travel agents but were unsure of the role of a travel coach. ✈️ 🚆 🛥️ 🌍

Each travel coach (like any coach) will have their niche and different ways of supporting their clients.

I love being there every step of the way, breaking down the stress, overwhelm, and anxiety that can come with organising a trip (logistics).
For example, I love choosing the best accommodation to suit your needs, working on budgets and affordability, choosing purposeful activities, and even considering little details like layovers and airline routes to make the most of your trip.
BUT then comes the deeper WHY…

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽?
For example:
•Is it really to escape?
•To rediscover yourself?
•Revitalise your soul?
•Or to seek direction?
Once you realise the true reason behind your journey you can then bring all these elements together for a truly transformative travel experience! 🩵🌍🩵

For me, this is what I call being my clients’ “Wing Woman”🧚🏼

When was the last time you sent a 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱? 💌📫
A little ritual I have at the end of each travel experience I host with a group is that I get them to write a postcard to themselves.

This can be something as simple as a single word, a quote, a reminder or anything that can bring them back to that moment in time.
I then post them to each guest at some point in the future ⏰ 📩

This ritual came to be after my Special Mum passed and I was going through her things. I found all the postcards I had sent her during my travels.
Some only had a few sentences, some just a few words, but they were all special to her.
It was a great point for me to reflect on my travels and those moments as I experienced them.

Next time, during your travels-send yourself a postcard, it’ll be a wonderful reminder of your journey, not just to a destination but also your journey to rediscover yourself 🧡
